Providing Animals With Shelter (PAWS)

Mission

The PAWS mission is to provide lost or surrendered animals with temporary shelter until adoptive families can be found.

PAWS Trick or Treat Walk for the Animals is being replaced with something new!

Some have inquired about the PAWS Walk this year. After hosting our 20th annual walk last year, we have decided to change things up and we are very excited about this new venture! This spring (April/May 2022) we will be hosting a new fundraising event, an All PAWS Carnival at the dog park! It will include pet related vendors, demonstrations, live music, food, and even a walk to honor our PAWS Walk tradition!

Since we will sincerely miss seeing our amazing four legged friends all dolled up in their Halloween costumes we still want to see what everyone is wearing this season! We are hosting an online costume contest!!! Please message or email (janett@saintpetermn.gov) us a photo of your pet in costume. Make sure to include your pet's name. All photos will be posted on our PAWS Facebook page. The winner will be announced online on October 29th at noon and will receive a prize!
