  Sign up for Coco's Corner!

Coco is a certified therapy dog through the Nationally Accredited Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Inc. This means Coco has been screened for skills and temperament, health and cleanliness, good manners and attitude.  Coco and her owner, Ann Menk will be hosting Coco’s Corner at the library for this summer! Sign up to read with Coco!

What about allergies?  Coco is very clean and well-groomed, which helps.  If a child suffers from severe allergies or asthma, reading with Coco might not be appropriate or enjoyable.

Only parents or guardians will be able to sign up their children. Call Brenda at the Library for more information. 507/934-7420

Join us for Kick-off on May 19 with Author David LaRochelle at 10:30 a.m!

Pick up your reading log, and sign up for special events throughout the summer!

Summer Reading Calendar

Stay tuned for updates on summer programs for Preschoolers, School-agers, Tweens and Teens!

Toddlers/Preschoolers: Read for 10 days and get a prize from the Toddler/Preschool Prize Bucket, throughout the program.

School Age Kids (going into Kdg through 6th Grade):  Pick up a necklace or key chain and pick out a brag tag.  Read for 10 days - get 10 beads for your necklace.  Exchange 3 beads for a special bead at any time to build your personalized keepsake.  Receive special beads for attending registration only events.

Tweens/Teens (6th grade and up): If beads and tags aren’t your thing, and you still want to keep track of your reading, fill out a reading log for 2 scratch-off tickets.  Scratch-off tickets can also be earned by checking out items from the library throughout the summer reading program.  Several prizes worth $25 will be given away.  All non-winning scratch-off tickets qualify for the Grand Prize at the end of the program.
